A Sunday Feast

Sheena has finally worked up an appetite.

Breakfast: Weetbix, prunes, apricots and milk + breastfeed

Lunch: bread (fingerfood style) apple-berrie ripple puree, pate + bottle of milk

Dinner: water-melon, bread, pear, peach, avacado, blueberries (all fingerfood style), more apple-berrie puree, custard for desert + breastfeed

She's doing so well with her finger feeding. She actually managed to reach out and grab a blueberry from me, then pop it in her mouth. Thats my girl.

There's something very primal about the satisfaction a mother (and maybe fathers, too) get from feeding their children. I totally get it now in a way that I didn't when my mom would nudge me to eat just one more thing.

Good for her!

Ok Jo,
I'm at your house, I want some blueberries. What a fancy palate your daughter will have. Pate - yuck.

Oh and be careful of sites like the anti-vaccination ones - no offense at all intended Noelle - but the diseases they prevent are dangerous too. Rubella, measles, mumps, chicken pox are yucky illnesses that children these days do not need to have. That is my two cents worth.

Luv ya

Way to go girl! I tried to give Vince a little baby cracker the other day... bad mistake, he is not really doing any chewing which caused the sogged up cracker to get caught somewhere and that a HUGE puke all over me, the carpet, the table (and the newspaper), pretty much everything but Vince ;-)
