More Bibs for Bub

I was the one sorry for myself today, because I was sick with Gastro. Not too bad, just really tired, queazy all day, and off my food. 3 day time naps, as well as going to bed at 7.30 last night. One way to loose some weight.

Sheena had lovely bright eyes today, and was looking more alert, although still cranky. She is so chucky at the moment - I am going to have to buy about 20 more bibs, as they only last 10 minutes. She's still having wet nappies, so it isn't panic stations yet.

I'm feeling a lot more relaxed without work on my mind, so that is great. I just feel a lot less rushed with everything. Not any big deal being in bed sick for most of the day when there is no work to go to.

Here is Sheena enjoying her solids. She ate a lot more than I did today.

I am glad that you have been able to delay returning to work. I stayed off a bit longer than planned too and while it wasn't easy (finacially) it was worth it - especially now I ma back part time and the brats are in child care or with Nan. Sheena is just gorgeous - there might be something in the red head rumours - they certainly seem to be determined little monkeys.

Now Jocelyn, I know that you love me, but you don't need to get gastro to feel close!!!
Isn't Sheena looking like a contented little chicken, such a clever girl being able to hold her spoon like that.
Young Marky has a nice little pressie for her next week, I hope she'll enjoy it.
Oh and by the way, VERY jealous about 3 day time naps.... just what I need.

She looks like she's a pro at using the spoon!

Hope you are feeling better soon!

Yay for solids! Joey has been eating them too. I actully went to Walmart and bought plastic coated bibs that way he doesn't go through 5 in one sitting! I just wipe him down a couple times and he keeps going! But you definetly can't have too many bibs!!!

Sheena is a very very beautiful little girl! I'm a "mum" of a baby in Vermont US who has T21. My husband is Australian and I could tell by your text you were either english or Aussie. The one picture of her (I think) lying across your lap in your blog is absolutely gorgeous. I've fallen completely in love with your little girl!

You are indeed blessed.
